His dad brought him to the job site for Take Your Kids to Work Day and as luck would have it, he stuck a nail through his thumb on his first day-but it was love at first strike of the hammer! From then on, he spent his summer breaks working as a crew-member. He started working on the set of Holmes on Homes® when he was just 14-years-old. always wanted to be a firefighter because he thought that was the best way to help people.

Since then Michael (also known as Junior, Mike Jr., and MJ, but really prefers Michael!) has been a permanent crew-member on Holmes in New Orleans, Holmes Inspection and Holmes Makes it Right.
